Luxe X vs Luxe XR: what is the difference?
The range splits into two families. The Luxe X devices (X Pro and X2) top out at 40W. They are built for mouth-to-lung (MTL) and restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) vaping, with a tighter draw that feels closer to a cigarette. The Luxe XR devices (XR Max and XR Max 2) go up to 80W and run low-resistance GTX coils, so they can also handle full direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping with bigger clouds.
The pods are shared across much of the range. The Luxe X Pro, XR Max and XR Max 2 accept both Luxe X pods and Luxe XR pods with GTX coils, and the Luxe X2 uses Luxe X series pods. That means you can usually move up to a bigger Luxe without changing your whole setup.

Which e-liquid to use in a Vaporesso Luxe
The right juice depends on your coil and how you vape:
- Higher-resistance pods (0.6Ω–0.8Ω) at lower power, MTL draw: nicotine salt e-liquid works well, such as Pod Salt Core 30ml.
- Low-resistance GTX coils (0.2Ω–0.4Ω) at higher power, DTL draw: use a low-strength freebase juice such as a 3mg e-liquid. These setups vaporise much more liquid per puff, so high-strength nic salt would be far too harsh. Options include Pod Salt Subo 3mg and Nasty 60ml 3mg.
